Prices vary threefold across countries

The same 50-seat coach day costs 500 € in Malta and 1810 € in Switzerland. Driver wages, diesel, vehicle availability: the market is national, and your price follows the vehicle's DEPARTURE country. The country-by-country detail is on the price table and every country has its own page.

What moves your price

Distance — but not proportionally.

Distance — but not proportionally. Under 150 km a flat transfer rate applies; beyond, the driver's working day weighs more than the kilometres.

Vehicle size.

Vehicle size. An 8-seat van runs about 65 % of the coach price, a 19-seat minibus 60-80 %. The per-person price falls fast with size: filling one 50-seat coach beats filling two minibuses.

Return trips.

Return trips. Same-day, a return costs far less than two one-ways; spread over days, it never exceeds twice the one-way — beyond that we release the vehicle and start from a local coach at each end.

Regulation.

Regulation. Past 9 hours of driving in a day (about 650 km), Europe requires a second driver: count 350 € more. Our quotes add it by default — beware of a long-distance price that never mentions it.

Season.

Season. From June to September and on long weekends, coaches go fast and prices firm up. Book two to three weeks ahead in season.

Frequently asked questions

What is the average day rate for a 50-seat coach?

In France, 1110 € excluding tax for an 8-hour day with 200 km included. Across Europe the same day runs from 500 € to 1810 € depending on the departure country.

Is a coach cheaper than the train for a group?

From about twenty people, almost always. Paris-Lyon on a 50-seat coach works out at 55 € per person with the vehicle full — a train ticket on the same route commonly costs double, and the coach leaves from your door.

Do these prices include everything?

The vehicle, driver, fuel, tolls and insurance. At your expense: on-site parking, venue tickets, and driver accommodation only when the quote states it. VAT is added for individuals; a company with an intra-community number pays excluding tax.

How do I get the exact price for my route?

Three questions on our estimator — departure, arrival, passengers — and the price appears, no email, no form. It is firm for seven days.
